DODGE RUMBLE BEE (8000 made between the years 2004 & 2005)
ENGINE 5.7L Hemi
This is the RUMBLE BEE addition. In 2004 and 2005, Dodge produced its Ram pickup truck with a distinctive yellow and black styling package reminiscent of the 1970s Dodge Super Bee. The Dodge Ram Rumble Bee was a limited production pickup truck built only on the two-door short-bed truck platform in either 4x2 or 4x4 final drive options. The Rumble Bee featured Dodge's most powerful Hemi at the time, Dodge's famous engine series featuring a domed or hemispherically shaped combustion chamber. In the two years of production, only 8,700 of these special edition trucks were created. Rare vehicle. Not many others for sale. Well maintained, 5.7 Liter Hemi Engine. Four Wheel Drive, sunroof, towing package, tinted windows, rare and expensive tonneau cover with a 12 inch high finspoiler. Rare rear sliding window, AC, Cruise Control. This truck looks and drives like a new truck for 13 the cost. We will accept reasonable, not ridiculous offers.
More information on the Rumble Bee Series of trucks
The Dodge Ram Rumble Bee was only available in two colors Black Clearcoat or Solar Yellow Clearcoat. The trucks are often noted by their equipped "Bee Stripe" which was a vertical running stripe behind the rear wheels on the bed sides. Black trucks were equipped with a yellow stripe, while yellow trucks were equipped with a black stripe. The stripe bears a more modernized "Scat Pack Bee" logo that can be found on the past Dodge Super Bee cars. The appearance package gave the consumer equipment also available on the "Sport" trucks such as painted bumpers, 20" chrome-clad aluminum wheels, and bright grille inserts. In addition, the package also included a brushed aluminum fuel door, chrome exhaust tip, lower rocker panel fascia or "ground effects", and a hood scoop. The hood scoop was non-functional. Only 3700 units of the Dodge Ram Rumble Bee were produced in 2004 with an additional 3700 units in 2005 labeled "The Second Swarm".
The interior of the Rumble bee shares equipment similar to that of the SLT- optioned trucks with some extras. The special center dash bezel was painted a gloss yellow with a dash plaque indicating its limited edition production number. The premium door panels sported special gloss yellow inserts and "bee" decals on them. All Rumble Bee's came with cloth seats, which could be upgraded to leather upon customer demand.
